After completing a degree in Sports Management, my interest in the leisure industry grew. As a leisure facilities manager of 10 years and active gym user I completed my Level 3 personal training qualification.
Improving the physical and mental health of clients, fosters a good work-life balance, enhances individuals productivity and inner-value. My aim is to create a positive and fun experience for clients, as well as using the best of my knowledge and experience to help clients achieve their goals. I specialise in hypertrophy and strength training.
Having worked in the fitness industry for multiple years I have a broad knowledge of training systems and how to apply these to my clients sessions. Within that time I've worked with a variety of people with varying fitness abilities and goals, and with each client being different it is important to plan, develop and review each session to make sure you are getting the best outcome possible and the outcome you want.
My area of expertise are High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT), weight loss, core stability and rehabilitation, with a keen interest in body weight training.
Furthermore; teaching group exercise classes is another passion of mine and I currently teach classes here at the Redgrave Sports Centre. I bring aspects of group exercise classes into my personal training sessions which is always a welcomed change from the usual.
I recently qualified as a Level 3 Sports Masseuse, which has added further knowledge to my personal training.
